Salmon Arm Company Featured In BC Showcase

SALMON ARM – The new BC Showcase corporate hosting space at Robson Square will put the spotlight on products manufactured by Salmon Arm company Dinoflex Manufacturing.

“British Columbia is a leader in building products and I am pleased that Dinoflex, a Salmon Arm company, has this unique opportunity to display their product to the global audience that will be attending the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games,” says Shuswap MLA George Abbott.

The BC Showcase will be officially opened in Fall 2009.

The BC Showcase is a LEED Gold certified event facility, featuring innovative multimedia displays of communities and leading industries from around the province.  It will host business visitors, build business relationships and promote awareness and recognition of B.C.’s competitive advantages as the province prepares to host the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.

Dinoflex Manufacturing supplied recycled rubber flooring that was used as an accent to the softwood flooring in the facility.  The use of recycled vehicle tires and environmentally friendly adhesives make Dinoflex products a great fit in green building projects.

“We’re proud to be part of such a unique and innovative facility,” says Terry MacLeod, CEO of Dinoflex Group LP.  “It truly puts our best foot forward as a province.”
