Left Turn Signals Get Green Light

SALMON ARM –New advance left turn arrows are now active at the intersection of Highway 1 and Shuswap Road.  The new signal arrows will increase safety for left turners coming from both directions off the highway onto Shuswap Road.

  • The project was completed in partnership with the City of Salmon Arm via a cost share agreement:
    • Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure: $34,372
    • City of Salmon Arm: $34,372
    • ICBC: $7,600
  • The left turn signals went live on January 4.
