Shuswap, MLA George Abbott presented a Local Motion grant for $49,569 to construct a 10 kilometre greenway connecting the communities of Blind Bay and White Lake to the Shuswap Trail Alliance. This greenway will be utilized for hiking, biking, horse back riding, cross country skiing and snowshoeing opportunities. This project will ultimately form part of a larger network of over 40 kilometres of trails in the Shuswap. August 25, 2008.
